Technology
Technology breeds different tendencies in language etiquette. For example, when leaving a voicemail on an acquaintance’s answering machine it’s important (or helpful) to have what one would want to say planed out. E-mail on the contrary, is not as final as leaving someone a message. Being cautious of what you’re typing is a necessary in order to deliver a clear and concise message. Being aware of one’s literary voice is not an easy task for some people.

Computer Technology
Computer Technoloy makes our lives much easier and better. Computer has a lots of advantages and disadvantages. We can use use email and send massages to people that live far away. We can save things in computer. In stead of using the yellow book,you can use the computer to search things that your searching for. It's makes lives 100% easier and faster.

Really when I was in my country I did not usefully the computer and the only thing I was using are news and also to connected my friends like Msn, Chat and other pages. Actually when I came in America I gat more significant challenges in my life or ever thing surround me was a computer. Even when I need to feel applications like colleges or jobs most of them I was feel in the computer. The computer was doing for us a lot of different thing in our life and computer technology is a part our life’s. And every thing you need you can reach easy. The critically about technology is that in our students habituated to a world of online blogging, we need to surveillance and cognitive effects of that pages.

computer or other technology makes our life better and easier in so many ways. Technology
Computer technology takes important role about my writing skills, also it encourages me thinking of different ways because every things harder to me, it makes easy to find, such as looking for the new words and history of cultural things which is really necessary to be aware of issues of the news Worldwide.
Computer technology is leading me in right direction and serve of my personal purpose in certain times, such as to relate to some of my family who live in Africa because I simply send to them pictures, messages and every possible needs that can go with the online, or making chat with them any time I prefer to make converse because it unconvenient to get calling card at all the time and they cost much money that everybody can’t avoid to buy it. Technology took important role of life communications of human choice.
In my opinion about technology every steps we have to take is one of the more significant of higher education, but it does not determine changes, but it encourages us to take certain direction. It is commonly that direction for everybody to be more easily exert of their choice.
The most popular of technology offers to us is page 399 on passage 12, this is really talks about many different contexts for presenting ourselves in online, such as chat room, role-playing games, also the dangerous of the World-with crimes terrorism, drugs and AIDS.
In my personal I agree with this passage and it is common all over the world as it happens all the time.

shrouded in contradiction
i think the most important idea of the ASAYESH"S narration is all about her life style between as she lived in the US and Iran. she discuss about her wearing veil and covering the body in Iran and complaining about all that for the whole story. In page 319 asked her sister "this isn"t about men and women" because she had a big contravension about why men are not wearing and doing the same thing, so that she never though that Hijab and veil is very imortant and the religion provided it to wear muslim women.

Under the Influence
The essay under the influence is basically about a father who is addicted alcohol. He can't stop drinking acohol. His elder son feels guilty because he felt like it's was his responsible his father's drinking problems.He couldn't stop his father stop drink acohol. His father drinks inside the house and gets mad at everyone and he slams the house doors so hard. His wife and his children are worried about their father. His elder son says "i know full well now that father was alcoholic, a man consumed by disease rather than disppointment". This essay was interesting and i had learned a lot from it.

I think that the essay really brings to light the hypocratic lifestyle of that paticular regon. I was impressed to see an author from that area publish an essay bringing to light how there is still a form of sexism that the west has for the most part prohibited.
The Sanders
This essay was basically about a person who had a father that alcoholic and that effected his life. The story reinforce high alcoholism in the united states and which is challenge alcohol all together. Sanders mostly writes to aboved the dark that he is trying escape. He had his first drive atthe age of twenty two and had only half of glass. He always tried to stay away from parties. seems as if his father left a burden in him that is even scared to see alcohol.

I think the essay was good. The description of his father and their life also good. Of course I do not think that the author has to feel shame, he is too religious about that. I am glad that at least his father got on his feet after all anf for fifteen years did not drink, and worked hard. at the end it is tragic again, but that is life.

This essay seems to have a few main themes but, the one that suck out to me the most was, a muslim women being torn between two lifestyles. She live in Iran and Flordia and knows the ways in both places. When she goes back to Iran to visit she understands why the women wear the veils, although now after living in Flordia she doesn't feel the need to wear the veil even being back home. The way the people think in the east and west are different, she states in paragraph 11. Some know its the way of religion. Some believe its just the way they want to live. The title really states it all though, she remains between both worlds trying to follow life, with both life styles.

Scott Russell Sanders, Under the Influence was about his fathers life long problem with acholisim. He lived in a town were everyone knew each other and was also raised up in a church family. This was the reason why the family hid his problem from everyone for fear of humiliation. Throughout the story Sanders talks about the deep affect that his fathers illness had on the whole family. This story in one aspect reassures the sterotypes that the majority of people have on the US being an alcoholic country. But in a different aspect he also challanges alcoholism and talks about the monsterous effects it has on a an individual and there loved ones. While reading the essay I believe on page 259 paragraph 53 was important when talking about the relationship writing had on his personal life. Sanders says, "I write, therefore, to drag into the light what eats at me- the fear, the guilt, the shame- so that my own children may be spared. Writing was a way out of the dark past Sanders had, and also an inspiration that his children won't lead to the same path.

from the essay that i read Asa Yesh mostly was describing about how she felt about wearing the hijab. it talks about the difference between west and east culture. For example, in page 319, she says that west , they think of passion as a fever of the body, not the soul. she basically doesn't like to wear the hijab and she is comparing her life style with the west culture. that is what i basically understood from the essay.

I read and go through all the chapter. it was really family memorial problem about father liquid addiction. the father died heart burst of alcholic problem. it was really too bad the father was gave the family many unfogettable shames,anger. also his son disappointed even to stranger . i have one quot that say, candy is dandy , bu liquor is quicker, and shows how is bad the alcholic.

Under the Influence was a good essay to read. I think that it shows what alcohol can do to a person. The narrator talked about how his fathers drinking affected him and his family. He talked about when he was a ten that he failed his father and blamed himself when his dad drank. Now that he is older and has children of his own, he spares them of what his dad did. In the end of the story he talks about how he stays away from where all the alcohol is, but that he occasionally has a few drinks and when he does he listens for a turning of a key.

In the essay "Under the Influence: Paying the Price of My Father's Booze" by Scott Russell Sanders, the author talkes about his fathers drinking problem. His father was an alcoholic, for as long as he can remember. He also talkes about the ways his fathers alcoholism efected him and his family. The author says that he blamed himself for his father drinking so much, he says that it was because he didn't do as good as his father would want him to do. It had a very strong impact on the author, he himself never drinks, and tries to convince other people not to, by writing essays like this one.

After reading the essay called "Under the Influence" I have truly understood the effect of alcohol on a family setting when only one person is the one "under the influence". The essay really makes me sad since my father was an alcoholic when i was younger and im very thankful that he never let his addicition get that bad to the point that this man's father did. Hiding bottles everywhere in the house, coming home drunk, feeding the dog booze and then letting it throw up in the baby's shoes. It is very sad what i read but it was a good experience.

I thought the most important thing in the readting is how the narrator is complaining about the Hijab--Islamic covering. it seems that she value the Hijab, but hates as well see as a ugly dress. She thinks the veil ruins her beautiful and sexuality. there are some stereotypes line in the essay. Like she says. "In the west , we think of passion as a fever of the body, not the soul. In the east, Sufi poets used earthly passion as metaphor; the beloved they celebrated was God." These lines show that how she separate the different cultures in world.
